Open-source software is spreading as the most successful form of software, resembling a successful biological species which has found an appropriate medium. The licensing model allows any human being to create modified or combined software which becomes increasingly more sophisticated. In addition open-source software which at first sight appears anti-commercial, has shaped the way companies earn they money in software and related businesses.  

Openpod.org aims to become a directory for open source and freely available software.  In addition we want to make reviews for new open source software.
