Celestia takes its basis from current astronomical information and presents you a simulation of the whole universe. Without being limited to our solar system, Celestia shows you planets, moons, and some smaller orbital bodies such as Mir and the International Space Station. It guides you during travelling other stars and your tour outside the galaxy. You can see the stars from the location you choose by controlling time and space.

Celestia is available for Windows, Linux, and MacOS X. It is also very useful in school presentations especially for middle/high school.
