Screensavers in Really Slick Screensavers are written in the open graphics language (OpenGL). Additionally,  Really Slick Screensavers are compatible for most computers. However, if you have more than a few years old computers, screensavers can be slow.  Unfortunately, since Intel disqualified OpenGL on some of the cards it produces, the performance of computers with Intel graphics cards is poor.
