A newer version of the open-source browser Firefox is now available for download, a year since the first version has been released. New version 1.5 is said to be faster, more stable and offer a bunch of new features.
Firefox 1.5 now includes the ability to reorder tabs by drag and drop, faster back and forward buttons, additional privacy and accessibility and improved popup blocking. Open-source show better commitment to support standards, as it has helped gain acceptance in government organisations all over the world. Firefox now supports SVG, CSS 2 and CSS 3, and JavaScript 1.6. According to Firefox's comprehensive list of updates over the previous stable version, 1.0.7, users get faster backward and forward navigation.
