 In order to maximize awareness and impact of NASA research, NASA has released NASA World Wind.
NASA World Wind is an open source software. Being a graphically rich 3D virtual globe for use on desktop computers running Windows, NASA World Wind compounds NASA imagery generated from satellites that have produced the Blue Marble, Landsat 7, SRTM, MODIS and more.
