French Web metrics firm XiTi based its results on a sample of 32.5 million Web site visits that took place on Jan. 8.  Finland has the highest proportion of Firefox users. Slovenia and Germany have followed Finland. Also, the percent of users in these countries is respectively 38, 36 and 30.

There are also other estimates of Firefox's market share released by Web metrics companies. However, these results include more conservative estimates than the estimates of French firm XiTi. For example, Firefox had achieved a global market share of 11.5 percent and only 4.9 percent of people were using Firefox in the U.K according to report released by OneStat.com.
